Blesbok

$10,000

The blesbok (Damaliscus pygargus phillipsi) is a subspecies of antelope native to the open grasslands of South Africa, known for the distinctive white blaze on its face, which gives it its name. A reddish-brown grazer, it was once hunted to near extinction but has made a strong recovery and is now common on private land, though still hunted for meat and trophies. They are social, fast, and rely on speed and endurance to escape predators like lions, leopards, and wild dogs.
